At EXPI Athletics, our mission is to develop powerful, efficient, and resilient baseball hitters through a unique blend of body awareness, advanced mechanics, and athletic development.
We focus on more than just the swing—we focus on how the body moves. Using stretching, stability work, and detailed swing analysis, we help athletes understand the what, when, and why of every movement. Our instruction uses proper baseball terminology and emphasizes the importance of balance and control, recognizing that baseball is a unilateral sport—which means training one side at a time matters.
To train stability, we use water bags, medicine balls, and other instability tools that challenge the body in sport-specific ways. These tools don’t just build strength—they teach athletes how to own their movement.
We break the swing into clear, repeatable phases:
From hip rotation to hands-first movement, we teach athletes to move with intent and feel the power behind proper mechanics.
Through overload/underload bat training, feel-based drills, and high-impact workouts, we help athletes reach new levels. Once an athlete shows strong body awareness, we take our training to the next level—into the gym.
Here, we simulate the load phase, explosive movement, and pitching/hitting mechanicsusing weights, med balls, and instability tools. These workouts are designed to create those “I feel it!” moments—when something clicks and the athlete levels up.
While metrics like bat speed and exit velocityare not our main focus, we do use video analysisand tech tools to track progress and provide valuable insights.
